Parents send their wards or children to school to be educated or learn. That is for the children to acquire good knowledge, skills, attitude and values to make them functional to themselves and to the society they live. But sadly and unfortunately, look at the sad episode we are witnessing now. Students instead of reading and studying their books are busy fondly themselves in class.
Where are our teachers and why all these nonsense? In those days, it was difficult to discuss love let alone express it publicly in class because you were so focused on your studies. So sad! No wonder there is sharp decline in academic performance in our schools today. The disturbing trend must be nipped in a bud or we suffer for it in the not too distant future.
